Can Tamanu Oil Improve Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a burning sensation of the skin. There is no cure, but medicines can reduce irritation and make side effects more noticeable.

There are no scientific studies investigating the effects of Tamanu oil on the indications for psoriasis. However, there is some evidence that the concentration of the Calophyllumenophyllum tree may have beneficial mitigation properties.

2017 research results suggest that a compound called chlorophyllide in this plant concentration may have sedative and wound-repairing effects in rats. Recent reports have also found that leaf concentrations in this plant reduce inflammation in the cells of the Research Center.

These discoveries are amazing, but the size of the search is limited. Much additional research is important to determine if moving from this tree can relieve human tension and whether these findings also apply to Tamanu oil.

How to use Tamanu oil for psoriasis

Due to the lack of research here, there are no rules on how to use Tamanu oil for psoriasis.

Similarly, like most recycled oils, Tamanu oil should be mixed with transporter oil such as olive oil and then applied directly to the skin. Familiarize yourself with transporter oils here.

Many commercial skin creams contain tamanu oil in Malaysia. Individuals can use these creams according to the instructions in the bundle.

Are there any side effects?

The reason the study has not been conducted is that people with psoriasis have access to similarly limited data on the recovery of tamanu oil.

The National Psoriasis Foundation warns that natural remedies can cause dangerous side effects and interact with a variety of medications. They also encourage people to move away from home remedies when they are with them:

Breastfeeding during pregnancy assumes that you have a previous illness such as diabetes or high blood pressure

Family therapy is equally unacceptable to babies and children.

In certain individuals, Tamanu oil can irritate the skin. People who know that using Tamanu oil may reduce or spread arousal should not use this remedy.

Side effects and precautions of Tamanu oil

The Tamanu Oil product label warns you of swallowing the oil and allows it to come in contact with your eyes. Companies selling Tamanu oil warn against using oil on wounds. If you have a large wound, be sure to see a doctor.

Please note that Tamanu Oil is considered a dietary supplement and can treat or cure illnesses not regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In fact, the FDA has sued companies in Utah and Oregon, claiming that Tamanu oil has a beneficial effect on the skin.

Studies show that exposure to Tamanu oil can cause allergic reactions in some people. People who are allergic to almonds should avoid tamanu oil, which is derived from a type of almond.

Tamanu oil alternative

Tamanu is not an almond oil or essential oil, but instead of Tamanu oil, we use the following essential oils. Which one you choose depends on the effect. Some of these essential oils need to be diluted with a carrier oil before being applied to the skin to avoid irritation, so use as directed.

Here are three options and what they can do.

Tea tree oil. Extensive research has been done on tea tree oil. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and is effective in treating skin conditions such as small wounds, itching, eczema, and acne.

Argan oil. Argan oil, also known as Moroccan oil, has been found to offer many of the same benefits as Tamanu oil, including wound healing, anti-aging benefits, acne treatment, and UV protection.

Castor oil. Castor oil is a cheap alternative with many similar uses and benefits. It has antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effects that help with fungal infections, mild skin irritation, mild cuts, and abrasions.

Studies suggest that Tamanu oil has certain properties that are effective in treating wounds and other inflammatory skin disorders. People who are allergic to almonds should not use Tamanu oil.
